The mission of the University of New Hampshire School of Law's student chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) is to offer students access to the Society's national structure and to facilitate the mission of the national organization.  This is the first and only law school chapter in the U.S. accredited by LES. In recognition of this unique status, members of this chapter receive the enhanced benefits of full membership in the organization.

Licensing Executives Society is committed to advising the Society's membership, international and government bodies, the business community, and the public at large of the economic significance of licensing intellectual property. Licensing Executives Society is also committed to advising the community of changes about laws in the U.S. and worldwide, which affect technology transfer and licensing of intellectual property rights. The organization also supports student involvement in Society meetings and seminars, both national and regional.  The student chapter hopes to bring national recognition to UNH School of Law students through these networking opportunities.
