Straat Tenney is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group and counsels clients on an array intellectual property matters, including U.S. and international trademark portfolio management, trademark clearance and enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting actions. He has also represented U.S. and international clients before the federal district courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining the firm, he was trained as a law clerk in the trademark and copyright litigation group of another New York firm. Before that, Tenney worked in-house at two separate multi-national corporations in the apparel and consumer products industries, specializing in intellectual property and business law.
During law school, Tenney coached and participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition in Vienna, Austria.
