Library Serials Supervisor
Ellen Phillips joined UNH Law in 2013, and as serials supervisor she maintains records for the library’s non-depository serials and keeps all serials current.
She supervises the processing of all serial materials, oversees the bindery process and catalogs some of the donated monographs that the library receives.
Her past library experiences include overseeing the retrospective conversion of a card catalog to an online database and coordinating the fundraising efforts of her local public library. She has worked extensively in the non-profit sector including the Nashua Symphony, the American Heart Association and the YMCA. She also ran her own company specializing in hand made silver jewelry and small metal sculpture.
Currently she is enrolled in an online program at San Jose State University where she is pursuing a master’s degree in Library and Information Science. She was nominated to Phi Kappa Phi in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Marist College. She also studied jewelry making at F.I.T. in New York.
She currently resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two children. Her interests include reading and mountain biking.
