Academic Success
Helping Students Develop Academic Skills
The Academic Success Program provides academic counseling, guidance, and learning support to students on an individual and small-group basis.
The Academic Success Department's tutors provide assistance in core curriculum areas.
To help you develop and strengthen the skills necessary to be successful in law school, the program holds workshops on time management, stress management, outlining, and preparing for exams.
Students are offered an opportunity to participate in writing workshops that reinforce the skills being taught in Legal Skills while reviewing grammar, sentence structure, and rules of writing.
In the spring semester, bar review courses and practice workshops for the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) and the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) are offered to students who will be taking state licensing bar exams in the summer.
Workshops
Workshops for the 2012-2013 academic year have concluded. Please check back for the 2013-2014 listings closer to September.
