Campus Life Beyond the Classroom
Students at UNH Law are involved in an array of organizations that enhance the day-to-day life at the school.
Students expand their intellectual life beyond the classroom through involvement in academic and professional organizations like the American Constitution Society, the Federalist Society, and the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Moot Court teams compete against the top writers and orators from other law schools in the nation.
The Student Bar Association (SBA) promotes academic excellence, professional growth, and goodwill among students. The SBA ensures efficient and effective use of student money and resources by sponsoring various extracurricular programs and activities for the student body.
The SBA Student Wellness Initiative offers the UNH Law community a broad range of opportunities to support physical and mental health. Presenters are local wellness professionals. Many of the workshops focus on stress management.
Groups such as the Chinese and Taiwanese Students Association, Black Law Students Association, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and Lambda Law connect students through shared experiences and identities. Browse their individual pages to learn more.
The Public Interest Coalition, a student organization open to all students, provides meaningful social justice experiences for UNH Law and the local community.
UNH Law also publishes two law journals, the University of New Hampshire Law Review and IDEA: The Journal of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property, through which students can gain experience with every aspect of publishing an academic law review.
