Diversity does not begin and end with awareness or the creation of a diverse campus and academic setting. As society continues to evolve in a global manner the critical aspects of diversity, humility, compassion, and understanding are imperative to the effective practice of law at any level in any setting.
To foster and support a safe, inviting, and all-inclusive environment. To develop and maintain a culture of diversity on campus that supports tolerance, acceptance, and cultural competency in student’s academic and professional lives.
The mission of the Diversity Coalition at the University of New Hampshire School of Law is to promote and support an enriching and supportive environment in which all students can thrive both personally, professionally, and academically. The Diversity Coalition will achieve this mission by acting as a committee that collaborates with all other campus diversity groups, including but not limited to:
- The Black Law Students Association;
- The Hispanic Law Students Association;
- Chinese and Taiwanese Law Student Association;
This collaboration will endeavor to promote, educate, and foster diversity within our immediate academic and larger Concord community.
