I have a LexisNexis account but I have forgotten my username and/or password. What do I do?

Go to the LexisNexis login self-service help page and following the instructions if you forgot your password or you forgot your ID.

What if my email address in LexisNexis is not up-to-date?

It is important that your email address in LexisNexis is up-to-date because important announcements and communications with your professor and classmates are pushed out to this email address.

If you need to update your email address associate with your LexisNexis account:

  • Log into LexisNexis (http://lexisnexis.com/lawschool)
  • Go to Settings in the upper right-hand corner
  • Select My Sign-in profile from the drop-down menu
  • Update and confirm your new email address
  • Click on the Submit button
  • The update in LexisNexis should take place immediately however it could take up to 24 hours to be update in LexisNexis and Blackboard.

Why is it important to know what browser I am using?

You use your browser to access content on the Internet.

New versions of browsers come out on a regular basis to keep up with technological developments and security issues.  As new browser versions come out, older browsers are no longer supported and can therefore cause problems when accessing some websites, including Blackboard.

Because of this we recommend that you use a recent version of a supported browser to access your online courses. See complete list of Supported Browsers.

Where do I find the online courses on LexisNexis?

The online courses are accessed from the LexisNexis for Law Schools website. Once logged in, see “My Web Courses” in the menu on the left hand side. Or go directly to My Web Courses.

How do I learn more about using Blackboard?

See the Using Blackboard documentation page which includes several topics that will be pertinent to your online course.

When are the online courses made available to students?
