New Graduate Student Orientation

THIS IS PAST ORIENTATION INFORMATION

Orientation Registration - New Student Orientation begins on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 9:00  a.m. in the UNH Law Jury Box Café. 

Please join us for a continental breakfast and meet your fellow students in the January Class of 2014.

The Student Orientation Schedule (UPDATED 1/8/2013) includes all the information you need to get started.

Preparing for Orientation

The graduate student orientation schedule includes:

  • Academic sessions
  • Your first American Legal Systems class
  • A discussion with your faculty advisor on your career goals and course selection
  • A special field trip to the Manchester Monarchs vs. Albany Devils Ice Hockey Game on Friday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m.

Please read and complete the following assignments and bring them to orientation prepared to discuss your work.  Assignments are due the first day of Orientation, January 9, 2013.

Read this article and this article prior to attending the Federalism lecture with Professor Field. Become familiar with this map of US Courts of Appeals and Federal District Courts.
