Rudman Center - Events & Speakers
Rudman Center Public Forum: What Will Our Country Ask of Us? with General McChrystal, March '15
General McChrystal currently speaks on the importance of National Service. He believes service “should not apply only to those in uniform, but to us all…”
The Rudman Public Forum Series offers free events that bring global policy leaders to campus and facilitate meaningful community involvement in the most pressing policy issues of our time.
As the Rudman Center’s fundraising arm, the Rudman Public Forum Series appeals primarily to external audiences. Of course, Rudman Public Forum Series events are also open to the law school community.
The Rudman Public Forum Series enriches the intellectual life of the campus and New Hampshire’s Capital Region.
Rudman Public Forum Series events are frequently sponsored through grants and gifts, and co-hosted by other university public policy centers (e.g., UNH’s Carsey School of Public Policy, Dartmouth College’s Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy, Saint Anselm College’s New Hampshire Institute of Politics), stand-alone public policy centers (e.g., the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate ), and other organizations with a public policy focus (e.g., NHPR - New Hampshire Public Radio).
Rudman Center Public Forum Series events are also supported in part by the Alison Curelop Series in Ethics, Professionalism and Civility.
Rudman Center Public Forum Series events are held on the UNH Law campus and on the campuses of affiliated organizations.
A list of upcoming and recent Rudman Public Forum Series events is available here.
