The Constitution & Democracy in Troubled Times: A Conversation

Friday, January 29, 2021 - 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Online

Join Professor John Greabe, professor of constitutional law at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and director of the Rudman Center, in a conversation about the uneasy relationship between the Constitution and democracy right now. He will field questions and address some of the previously arcane constitutional and statutory provisions that have been much in the news lately: the Twelfth Amendment (and the related Electoral Count Act); section 3 of the 14th Amendment; the 20th Amendment; the 25th Amendment, and the provisions of Articles 1 and 2 that give rise to the independent-state-legislature doctrine and govern impeachment and removal.
