Melanie Cornell

Head of Collection Management

Melanie Cornell’s primarily responsible for selecting, budgeting, implementing, upgrading, trouble-shooting, in-house training, continuing education and provides hardware, software and technical support specifically associated with the library's Automated Library System (online catalog). She serves as library's automation team leader and works on special cataloging projects.

She joined Pierce Law in 1983 and has filled a number of other positions such as a library aide, administrative assistant, cataloger, and head of technical services.

She has an interest in the education of learning-disabled children, elder care, the arts, music, nature, literature, health and technology.
