Amy Drake is an attorney in the tax department at McLane Middleton in Manchester, N.H., where she's worked since 2014. Drake advises business and individual clients on a wide variety of tax-related topics, including corporate taxation, partnership taxation, international tax and treaty issues, state and local taxation, estate planning, and employee benefits, and also represents clients in complex corporate and partnership transactions, including taxable and tax-free reorganizations and spin-offs, corporate liquidations and redemptions, S corporation tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and entity formation, among other responsibilities.
Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Drake was an Associate in U.S. and International Taxation at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in New York, N.Y., where she worked from January 2011 to May 2014 (and where she was a Summer Associate in 2009). She has previous experience as a Judicial Intern for Judge Bob C. Hunter with the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Drake earned a J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law in 2010, and was a Research Assistant to Professor Christopher Schroeder during the summer of 2008.
