Cathy Chesley is the director of New Hampshire Catholic Charities' Office of Immigration and Refugee Services, which provides an array of legal services to low-income immigrants throughout the state.
In addition to family-based immigration cases, such as naturalization, status adjustment, and family reunion, the UNH Law Immigration Clinic also takes on challenging asylum and trafficking cases. Dr. Chesley also oversees a large U.S. Department of Justice Violence Against Women Act grant through which legal aid is available to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
She earned her B.A. from the University of Connecticut, her J.D. from UNH Law, and her Ed.D. from Harvard University.
