Cathy Chesley is the director of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s Office of Immigration and Refugee Services, which provides an array of immigration legal services to low-income and indigent immigrants throughout the state.
In addition to family-based immigration cases, such as naturalization, status adjustment, and family reunion, the UNH Law Immigration Clinic also takes on challenging asylum and trafficking cases. Dr. Chesley also oversees New Hampshire Department of Justice Victims of Crime (VOCA) grant through which legal aid is available to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
She earned her B.A. from the University of Connecticut, her J.D. from UNH Law, and her Ed.D. from Harvard University.
