Courtney Q. Brooks is an Associate Professor and the Director of the UNH Law Legal Residency Program which allows students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world legal setting by working under the supervision of attorneys and other professionals, so that they can build the skills, characteristics, and competencies essential to success.
As the Director of the Legal Residency Program, Professor Brooks establishes and maintains high quality legal residency placements both locally and nationally in order to meet the educational and career goals of UNH Law?s diverse student population. Through the companion Legal Residency Course, Professor Brooks guides legal residency students through their placement experiences through reflections, assignments and workshops focused on professionalism and skills development.
Prior to joining UNH School of Law in 2010, Brooks worked as a business litigation and products liability attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP in Manchester, NH; Pierce Atwood LLP in Portsmouth, NH; and Reed Smith LLP in Oakland, CA.
