David Briggs

David Briggs is seen as a pioneer of the Internet Gaming industry, having moved from  Barclays Bank's internet banking group to joined UK market-leader Ladbrokes in 1999 to start-up their fledgling online division. David went on to become Managing Director of Ladbrokes eGaming from 2005 – 2007, where he ran their online Sportsbook, Casino, Poker, Bingo, Financial Fixed Odds and Games businesses worldwide; covering internet, mobile, and cable, satellite and WebTV interactive platforms. Since 2007 David formed his own consultancy company to assist existing and start-up betting and gaming business leverage the opportunities that the internet brings.  

In 2011 he was part of the founding team behind GeoComply Ltd, a new company focused on tackling the growing challenge of mass-market location spoofing. Five years on GeoComply is now the market-leader in compliance grade geolocation, providing critical services to companies in the entertainment, banking and security sector. With its solutions installed on over 200 million unique devices worldwide and handling up to 10 million unique location queries a day, GeoComply offers a uniquely reliable tool to ensure that Interactive services can be safely and easily delivered to only the territories it is licensed for.
