Jennifer Davis

Jennifer Davis is the director of Graduate Skills at UNH Law. In that role she works closely with many of UNH Law’s international students, providing them with foundational skills in legal analysis and writing and an understanding of the American legal system. Before teaching in the graduate program, Davis taught J.D. legal writing at UNH Law for a number of years, most recently as the assistant director. She came to UNH Law in 2004, after teaching legal writing for four years at Suffolk University School of Law.

Davis graduated from Suffolk University Law School, magna cum laude, in 1996. After law school, she clerked for judges of the Maine Superior Court and the Juvenile Court of Massachusetts. She also worked as an appellate attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts where she argued appeals before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Davis is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Maine.
