Kristy Gale

Kristy Gale is a sports technology and data rights management law pioneer, educator and entrepreneur. She has 15+ years' experience working in corporate legal departments - particularly in the IP and Transactional law practice areas. Kristy completed her LL.M. in Sports Law & Business from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2015. This, combined with Kristy’s experience and the emerging sports technology and data space, prompted Kristy to delve into data rights management.
Kristy is the founder of Hypergolic Enterprises, a data rights management company helping sports data users monetize and protect their data rights. Kristy consults for Sports Data Strategies and is Director of the Institute for Biometric Data Optimization and Protection (IBDOP), a non-profit association for stake holders to address ethics, best practices and legislation.
Kristy is a contributor for SportTechie and other publications. She is also an instructor in the Sports & Wagering Integrity program at University of New Hampshire School of Law, the only sports betting law program in the U.S. Kristy was named one of the Top 20 to Watch on Twitter in Sports Tech in 2016.
