Phillip D. Cross

Since 2012, Philip D. Cross has been a Judicial Referee for the New Hampshire Circuit Court Family and District divisions, hearing family law, small claims, civil and landlord tenant cases. He is an arbitrator/mediator in private practice, arbitrating and mediating family law cases and civil, personal injury and financial disputes.

As a marital master for the New Hampshire Family Division and Circuit Court, from 2004-2012, he presided over thousands of family law cases, authored thousands of decisions in: divorces involving high net worth, personal, real and commercial properties, business interests, and estate planning; child custody and child support cases; guardianships and juvenile abuse and neglect proceedings.

He has been a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, the Family Division Policy Committee, and a staff attorney at the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office.

Cross is a member of the New Hampshire Bar and the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in New Hampshire and the United States District Court, District of New Hampshire.
