Rachel Goldwasser

Rachel has served as Executive Director of NECPUC since 2015.  From 2008 to 2015, Rachel was an attorney at the law firm of Orr & Reno, in Concord, New Hampshire.  There, Rachel worked with diverse clients on energy issues, representing individual ratepayers, utilities, independent generators and competitive suppliers before a variety of tribunals as well as the New Hampshire legislature. She also litigated complex civil matters and advised nonprofits in a variety of capacities. Before joining Orr & Reno, Rachel served as law clerk for the Honorable John A. Woodcock, U.S. District Court, District of Maine.  Rachel has a J.D., summa cum laude, from Vermont Law School, a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a A.B., cum laude, from Dartmouth College.  While in graduate school, Rachel worked at the Vermont Law School Institute for Energy and the Environment and at the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. Rachel sits on the board of the Friendly Kitchen in Concord, New Hampshire.
