Terri L. Pastori’s employment practice involves counseling and representing employees and employers in the full spectrum of employment matters. She advises clients on employment and severance agreements, employee discipline, compliance with employment laws, including wage and hour matters, terminations, investigation of complaints, governmental audits, drafting and implementing policies and practices, training, in-house dispute resolution, and claims of discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate, retaliation, and breach of employment and collective bargaining agreements. Terri also advises clients on protecting intellectual property, including the negotiation and enforcement of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements.
She has represented employers in federal and state courts, the state administrative agencies in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (“MCAD”) Certified Train-the-Trainer Programs for Preventing Harassment and Discrimination in the Workplace and Conducting Internal Discrimination Complaint Investigations, and is on the MCAD approved list of trainers for remediation.
In 2012, Terri started her own law firm in her home town of Derry, New Hampshire after 15 years of working at leading, large firms in Boston and Manchester, New Hampshire. Immediately prior to launching her own firm, she was a partner at Peabody & Arnold LLP, Boston’s oldest law firm. Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold in 2000, she was an associate at New Hampshire’s largest law firm, McLane Graf Raulerston & Middleton, P.A. (now McLane Middleton) in Manchester, New Hampshire. She also had the privilege of serving as a law clerk to Justice W. Stephen Thayer of the New Hampshire Supreme Court after graduation from law school, prior to joining McLane.
Terri earned her B.S. from UMass Lowell magna cum laude in 1993 where she was active on the residence life and campus guide staffs. She received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School summa cum laude in 1996, graduating first in her class. She is admitted to practice in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
