The Honorable Joseph Laplante

Adjunct Professor, Statutory Interpretation

The Honorable Joseph Normand Laplante is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He joined the court in 2007 after an appointment from George W. Bush. At the time of appointment, Judge Laplante was the first assistant U.S. attorney for District of New Hampshire. He became chief judge for the court in 2011.

Judge Laplante received his JD from Georgetown University Law School.
