Adjunct Professor, Public International Law
Andrew Vorkink previously practiced international law with law firms in New York and Tokyo and spent 30 years at the World Bank, where he held the positions of assistant general counsel, Legal Reform and Advisory Services, and then director, World Bank operations in South Central Europe and in Turkey.
Vorkink has taught International Law at American University’s Washington College of Law and Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. He has been guest lecturer in law at several universities in the US and in Turkey, and he has served as the Allwin Visiting Executive on corporate responsibility and ethics at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Vorkink’s specialization is in international law, international organizations and law and development. He was educated in Turkey and the US, with B.A. Yale University and J.D. Harvard Law School.
