Paul J. Morrow Sr. has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Maine at Orono with a concentration in finance and economics. He received a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). He is admitted to practice law in Maine and the Federal Courts.
Morrow Sr. began his career in the banking and investment field for approximately 6 years managing investment portfolios and doing estate planning. He moved into the private practice of law specializing in litigation including business law in Maine for 15 years. He received a special appointment and practiced as an Assistant Attorney General. He received a favorable opinion from the Maine Supreme Court for an oral argument and writing the winning brief helping to define the Protection from Abuse statute in Maine in 2002. He has been teaching Business Law for 25 years.
He has been very active in his community including the appointment of President of the Board of Directors of “The Warren Center” in Bangor, Maine. It is a center deeply involved with children who are hard of hearing and their performance at school.
He is a nationally published author and presenter. He was a Professor of the Year finalist, twice, in the last 4 years. He is the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship Award 2011 in recognition for an article published (blind, refereed, peer reviewed) by the University of Pittsburg Law School’s Journal of Technology, Law and Policy. He specializes in business law, economics, finance and professional writing.
