Additional Information

Broderick served on the NH Supreme Court for 15 years, retiring to join UNH School of Law. During his tenure as Chief Justice over the past six years, he was the administrative head of all the state’s courts, in addition to his judicial duties, and became nationally known for reexamining the way the court system works and redesigning it to meet the challenges of the 21st century.  Under Broderick’s leadership, New Hampshire established an “Access to Justice Commission” to help enhance programs that provide low cost legal services to poor and low income citizens.
