Public Interest Job Resources
Overview
- Open to 2Ls and 3Ls.
- Public interest employers rarely have the funding to do expansive fall recruiting. Instead, they rely on the initiative of the job seekers.
- They seek students who have the passion and compassion for providing representation to the underserved.
- Even though some of the summer jobs are not paid, they still can be very competitive. Don't assume that public interest jobs are a "backup" if you can't find another job. Plan early.
