Music Law is a seminar designed to provide students with an introduction to core concepts, doctrines, transactions and issues in the areas of artist representation, sound recording and music publishing transactions, as well as legal protection of music artist rights, including trademark, copyright and the right of publicity. Music Law is a paper course with the goal of having students complete a paper on any music-related topic that is of publishable quality.
