Conference and Career Fair Stipend Application Due

Social Justice Institute’s Public Interest Stipend
For the Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27
2012 EJW Conference and Career Fair

Message from the Social Justice Institute’s Director

Each year the Social Justice Institute provides a modest stipend to students interested in attending the fair but who are unable to cover the full cost of attendance.  This year the stipend award for each student selected will be a maximum of $200.  This stipend is to be used to offset the costs of travel and accommodation.  In order to be considered for the stipend, you must Return this Application to Erin Corcoran, SJI Director by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2012.

In the past, students who have attended this fair were able to secure interviews with employers and, in some instances, the interviews resulted in summer internships and/or job offers post graduation. If you are interested in a career in public interest, I strongly encourage you to attend this fair.  You are not required to have secured any interviews to be considered for a stipend.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me at erin.corcoran@law.unh.edu or stop by my office, Room 305, which is across the hall from Academic Support.
