Albert E. (Buzz) Scherr of the University of New Hampshire School of Law was recently elected chair & president of the New Hampshire Civil Liberties Union (NHCLU). UNH Law Students Named Winners of Samsung-Stanford Patent Prize Competition
Two University of New Hampshire School of Law students have recently been named winners of the inaugural Samsung-Stanford Patent Prize competition. Kanav Hasija, a Masters in Intellectual Property candidate, and T. Paul Tanpitukpongse, a 3L student, won in the student category. They will receive a $5,000 cash prize and the opportunity to join other winners at a patent remedies conference to be held at Stanford Law School on February 18, 2011. UNH Law Breaks Ground for New $4.6 Million Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property
The University of New Hampshire School of Law today held an official groundbreaking ceremony for a 12,700 square foot addition that will house the newly created Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property. The $4.6 million Center will build on the pioneering work that has made Franklin Pierce synonymous with intellectual property leadership for over 35 years.
