Sunapee Harbor Gallery Artists Exhibit Work at University of New Hampshire School of Law
The work of several New Hampshire artists from the Upper Valley is currently featured in an exhibition entitled "Art from the Harbor Gallery" at UNH Law. Featuring oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography, and fabric art from the Harbor Gallery of Sunapee, NH, the exhibit is on view, free of charge, through Tuesday, December 20.
The public is welcome to attend a reception for the artists on Saturday afternoon, December 3, from 11 AM – 3 PM, held in association with Art Concord. During the reception, three-dimensional work will also be available, including jewelry by furniture maker Michael Perra of Sunapee, and silver "Wind Blown Trees" by Randy Adams of Unity.
"Our seasonal gallery features the work of both local and regional artists," according to artist and gallery owner Marie Wiggins of Sunapee. "It is closed for the winter now and much of the work from its walls has been gratefully relocated to the beautiful space within UNH Law for the months of November and December."
Included in this exhibition is the work of artists Charlotte Broughton of Grantham, NH, Debbie Campbell of Newbury, NH, Betsy Derrick of Hanover, NH, John Geery of Rutland, VT, Grace Cooper, Vicki Koron, and David Tibbetts of New London, NH, and Yvonne Shukovsky of Springfield, NH, and Michael Kerra of Sunapee, NH. Wiggins will display her unique fabric artwork, distinguished by precise hand beading and embroidery.
