In his keynote address at UNH Law’s annual alumni dinner on March 22, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia offered an extensive critique of several trends in contemporary legal education. UNH Law Moves up 23 Positions in the U.S. News Rankings

Legal Writing Program Gives First-Year Students Real-World Experience
UNH Law’s Legal Skills Program is challenging first-year students to solve real legal problems for New Hampshire organizations. Students in this year’s Legal Writing and Analysis II class are the first to participate in the new program, which brings together the students and a local nonprofit with an access-to-justice issue that it has neither the time nor resources to solve. Students in Criminal Practice Clinic Turn “Slam-Dunk Case” Into Split Verdict

Professor Michael McCann, the director of UNH Law’s upcoming Sports Law Institute and a legal analyst and writer for Sports Illustrated and SI.com, talked with Lance Armstrong at his home in Austin, TX, last week.
