Office of the Assistant Dean for Students

We are here to ensure that you have all the support you need for a successful law school career. From your initial transition to Concord, NH, all the way through to your graduation, please call on us if you need help making the most of your time at UNH Law.

Among the many ways we can help are:

  • Want to excel in your classes? Contact our Academic Success Department to work on strengthening your learning skills, such as active reading, outlining, and preparing for exams. Academic Success offers 1L workshops, individual work sessions, skills coaches, and much more. Our Academic Success Department is here to help!

  • Voter Registration Information from the New Hampshire Secretary of State.
  • If you'd like to speak privately to a counselor, there are several in the Concord area who will offer you a reduced hourly rate. Here is a list of counselors. (Note: UNH Law has no formal arrangement or relationship with any counselor/therapist listed. This list is provided as a convenience to UNH Law students, faculty, staff and their families.)
  • Are you worried that you or a friend drinks too much? The New Hampshire Lawyer Assistance Program is an independent, confidential resource you can rely on. Contact www.lapnh.org or Cecie Hartigan, the executive director, at 603-545-8967.

Don't forget that the Student Handbook has all the school's policies, procedures and academic rules.
