Health Law & Policy

A Laser Focus on Health Care

Health care is one of the most critical issues facing society today. Lawyers need to be poised to help shape and manage policies affecting the healthcare delivery system as it expands and transforms.

UNH Franklin Pierce’s Health Law & Policy Program will prepare you to enter a field that continues to experience rapid growth. The future of health care policy and regulation is one of the most important challenges facing us today – as a lawyer, you want to be poised to help craft and manage strategies impacting the health care delivery system as it transforms and evolves. Our courses focus on health care regulation, bio-ethics, current issues in health policy, and issues affecting the health law field. You will gain an understanding of the health care marketplace and have the opportunity to graduate with the legal and regulatory essentials necessary to practice in this emerging and dynamic field. With up to three credits of the certificate coursework requirements available to come from a legal residency or  clinic, there are ample opportunities for critical hands-on experience.
