International Criminal Law & Justice
• Understand and combat transnational crime
• Practice in the U.S. or abroad
• Address pressing issues, such as the expanding reach of domestic criminal statutes, crimes of war, drug laundering, human trafficking, international white-collar crime, and cybercrime.
This LLM is offered 100% online and can be completed on a full or part-time schedule
Clinics: Experience hands-on learning through our Intellectual Property and Transaction Clinic. Students help clients turn their dreams into strategic business ventures by providing legal support on: business formation and organization, copyright and trademark registration and protection, licensing and business transactions though work at the USPTO, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and at the Copyright Office.
Immersive Classroom Experiences: Commerce and Technology and IP LLM students benefit from immersive classroom experiences in locations like Silicon Valley where they learn from IP experts at Apple, Dolby Laboratories, Fox Entertainment, Google, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, Samsung, and Uber. Our Intellectual Property Summer Institute brings industry experts to the classroom for an inside look at the future of IP, and extensive networking opportunities with IP leaders.
Preparation for Success
Academic Success Program: Bi-weekly workshops and individual sessions to help students navigate assignments, midterms and final exams. Students also work on developing soft skills such as time management and scheduling priorities.
Bar Prep: Our dedicated faculty provide individualized support on what the bar exam looks like and how to prepare. LLM students can take a preliminary exam to test their ability and can enroll in our online extended bar review course offered each spring.
