How to Access the MyUNH Portal

UNH uses the MyUNH Portal and UNH email to provide important information to you. The MyUNH Portal is your key to accessing electronic resources for registration, coursework, email, grades, and additional student information. Grades are only available through the portal. Your UNH email will be used to communicate official information to you, so you should check it regularly or forward mail from that account to one you use on a regular basis. To access the MyUNH Portal you need a UNH username and password.

New students: Your UNH Username is needed to claim your account.

Claim Your Account:

  1. Browse to myaccount.microsoft.com
  2. Enter {{USERNAME}}@usnh.edu and Click Next
  3. Click on the "Forgot my password" link and follow the prompts.
  4. Continue to follow the prompts to Set-up Password Recovery and Multifactor Authentication.

To access UNH Email (Wildcats Mail):

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “Student Email” icon listed under “Important.”
  3. Sign into your Microsoft Office 365 email using the same username and password as MyUNH.
  4. Click on “Sign in”

To Register for Classes:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Registration”
  4. Click on “Add/Drop Classes”, select Term from drop-down menu and click “Submit”
  5. Scroll to bottom of screen and enter CRN(s) or click on “Class Search”
  6. Select “Subject” and “Campus” and click on “Class Search”
  7. Select desired course(s) and click on “Register”
  8. When finished with course selections, click on “Submit Changes” and then “Complete”

To View/Confirm Current Schedules:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Registration”
  4. Click on “Student Detail Schedule” and select the term you wish to view

To make an online payment or print a receipt:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Select “Billing”
  4. Click on “View your account/Pay bill”
  5. Click on “Make Payment to UNH” to make a payment
  6. Follow online instructions

Note: Credit card transactions are assessed a 2.75% services fee – no fee for check transactions.

To View Academic Record or Request Transcripts:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Student Records”
  4. Click on “Transcript”
  5. Click on “Academic Transcript” for unofficial transcripts, Select “Unofficial Transcript” under Transcript Type
  6. Or Click on “Request Transcript” for official transcripts
  7. Select “Printed” or “Electronic”
  8. Follow online instructions

To View Grades:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Student Record”
  4. Click on “Grades”
  5. Click on “Final Grades”
  6. Select your desired term from the down menu and click “Submit”

To obtain a current or past term enrollment verification:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Registration”
  4. Click on “Enrollment Verification”
  5. Click on “Connect to National Student Clearinghouse”
  6. Select “Current Enrollment” for current semester or “All Enrollment” for history of enrollment at UNH.
  7. Click on “Obtain an enrollment certificate”

To obtain a Summer Session or future term enrollment verification:

  1. Login to the MyUNH Portal (see directions above)
  2. Click on the “WebCat” icon listed under “Important”
  3. Click on “Registration”
  4. Click on “Enrollment Verification”
  5. Click on “Request Current Term Enrollment Verification”
  6. Follow online instructions
