The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law has been a powerhouse for over five decades, offering a top-ranked US legal education in global innovation and a world-renowned Intellectual Property Law program.  

We offer two LL.M. programs offered 100% online with start dates in August and January. Flexible pacing with full-time and part-time options is available, allowing you to earn your LLM in one to three years – set a pace that works for you!  

Apply early to be considered for scholarships up to 20% of the cost of tuition! July 1 is the priority application deadline, and August 1 is the final deadline for programs beginning in August 2025.

Intellectual Property

International Criminal Law & Justice

As the oldest fully online transnational crime program available at an ABA-accredited law school in the US, the LLM in International Criminal Law and Justice addresses fast-paced developments in the globalization of commerce, terrorism, human rights, and criminal law. You will explore pressing issues such as the expanding reach of domestic criminal statutes to commerce issues around terrorism to crimes of war, drug laundering, human trafficking, weapons trafficking, human rights, cybercrime and more.

Academic Success Program: Workshops and individual advising sessions help students navigate assignments, midterms, and final exams, and ensure success throughout the LLM program. 

Career and Academic Advising: The Office of Career and Academic Advising is there from day one of the online learning experience. They help students select courses that best fit their personal and professional goals and are there to guide students through the next chapter of their career journey. Services include creating a career development plan and strategy, support with building resumes, writing cover letters, networking, practicing interviewing skills, and leveraging our alumni and employer network to search for jobs.
