Cassandra LaRae-Perez
Cassandra LaRae-Perez joined UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law in January 2024 to direct the Intellectual Property and Transaction Clinic. She has taught trademark law at Franklin Pierce since 2021. Prior to joining Franklin Pierce, Professor LaRae-Perez spent twenty years in private practice, developing her expertise in litigation, government relations, intellectual property and business transactions. Professor LaRae-Perez serves on several ABA-IPL committees and recently joined the USPTO Processing Times Committee. She serves on the board of the Vermont Specialty Food Association and remains very active with Vermont's food and beverage industry. She served on the executive board of the Central Vermont chapter of the American Inns of Court for nearly twenty years and served twice as its president. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Law (J.D. - '02) and of the University of California, San Diego (B.A. '92), with additional studies at Birmingham University, England; Leiden Law School, Leiden University, Netherlands; and University of Burgundy, France.
