Michael Mathaisel has been associate patent counsel since 2009, currently with Finch & Maloney in Manchester, N.H., and previously with several Boston firms. He obtained his J.D. and L.L.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2009. Prior to law school, Michael was a software engineer with Walt Disney World Co. and Walt Disney Imagineering from 1990-1992 and 1996-2006, where he was primarily responsible for the design, testing, and maintenance of safety systems for Disney's theme park rides and shows. After graduate school, he spent two years at Boston Market Inc. in Golden, Colo., as a data center systems administrator. Michael has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University and has been an adjunct professor at the law school since 2020.
