Licensing Executives Society

About us

The University of New Hampshire School of Law (UNH Law) student chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) is the first and only law school chapter in the U.S, and is open to all students at the law school. The mission of LES Chapter at UNH Law is to offer law students access to the LES U.S.A. structure, and facilitate the mission of the LES U.S.A.

We are committed to educating our members the economic significance of licensing of any form of intellectual property, and regarding the current laws and any changes in laws in the U.S. and worldwide, which affect technology transfer and licensing of intellectual property rights. We will foster this awareness through seminars, workshops, presentations, discussions, and mentorship.

We further encourage, facilitate, and support our member’s involvement in LES U.S.A. and international meetings and seminars, both at national and regional levels.  This student chapter hopes to bring national recognition to UNH School of Law students through these learning and networking opportunities.
