John Greabe, director of the Rudman Center, was one of three speakers at the UNH Spring Academic Convocation on February 19. The event, “A Conversation about Free Speech, Truth and Civility,” was co-hosted by the University of New Hampshire and the Faculty Senate. The speakers and their topics included:
- Professor Greabe, “Free Speech at Public Universities”
- Jan Golinski, professor of history, “Post-Truth and Anti-Science”
- Renee Heath, principal lecturer in communication and co-director of the Civil Discourse Lab, “Higher Education in a Democracy and the Praxis of Civil Discourse”
