John Greabe

John Greabe, professor of law and director of the Warren B. Rudman Center, will participate in a panel discussion on civic strength on April 5, from 6 to 7 pm, at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH.

Sponsored by NH Civics and NHPR, Building Civic Strength: NH Community Conversations is a series of candid discussions on how people and communities in New Hampshire can act now to restore civic strength. The program, moderated by Laura Knoy, former host of NHPR’s The Exchange, will be held in locations throughout the state with a rotating panel of guest speakers.

The April 5 panel features guest speakers Greabe; Hannah McCarthy, Civics 101 co-host; Alexis Messina, student at Franklin Pierce University; and Dr. Dottie Morris, associate vice president for Institutional Equity and Diversity at Keene State College. Discussion will center on the US Constitution: how was it created, what was its purpose then, why is it still important today, and how does it serve to unite all Americans.

The Constitutional Conversations series kicks off April 5 at Franklin Pierce University, Spagnuolo Hall, 40 University Drive in Rindge, NH. Additional programs will be held from 6 to 7 pm on April 19 at the Nashua Public Library; May 3 at the Rochester Opera House, and May 17 at the Berlin City Hall.

All programs will be held in person and livestreamed. For more information and to register, please link here.
