Robert E. McDaniel discusses international crimes in small towns and cities
CONCORD, NH – Robert E. McDaniel, an attorney who practices from offices in Meredith, New Hampshire and is on the faculty of University of New Hampshire’s Franklin Pierce School of Law’s International Criminal Law and Justice Program, will be presenting at the annual conference of the New England chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Spectacular Inn at Mills Falls in Meredith, NH. An abbreviated version of the presentation will be held as a complimentary webinar on June 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Registration for both the conference and webinar are required. The recipient of two Special Achievement Awards from the U.S. Attorney General, Mr. McDaniel served in the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., and in New Hampshire, as a member of the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF), where he coordinated complex international investigations involving federal, state, and small-town law enforcement. As a faculty member of UNH Franklin Pierce’s International Criminal Law and Justice Program, he teaches courses in Drug and Weapons Trafficking and White-Collar Crime.
Mr. McDaniel’s presentation will be focused on identifying and investigating international crimes in small towns and cities, including discussing what to look for, describing the telltale signs of organized criminal activity, and exploring how to empower small police departments to tackle threats to their communities.
