
Patricia Morris
Patricia A. Morris's employment at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law started in 2008 as the Associate Director of Admissions and she currently is the Assistant Dean for J.D. Admissions. She is also an adjunct faculty member, teaching Animal Law at UNH Franklin Pierce.
Prior to attending UNH Law as a student, Morris, J.D. '06, held various upper management positions in the telecommunications industry. Her career started as Northeast customer service manager for U.S. Cellular, then she became director of provisioning and the network operations center at Lightship Telecom. After earning her J.D. from UNH Franklin Pierce, she became corporate counsel for Pan Am Systems, Inc.
Morris is a licensed attorney who practices animal law in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Her clients include local animal shelters and non-profit organizations, as well as animal owners, breeders, and businesses. She assists, pro bono, in prosecuting animal cruelty throughout New England. In 2009, Governor Lynch appointed her as Chair of the Governor’s Commission on the Humane Treatment of Animals, and she still serves on the Commission today. Formerly, she was President of the New Hampshire Horse Council and sat on the Board of Directors for the NH Disaster Animal Response Team.
