Patricia A. Morris's employment at UNH School of Law started in 2008 and as the Associate Director of Admissions she recruits potential students, assists in the application review process and coordinates events such as open houses and law fairs. She is also an adjunct faculty member, teaching Animal Law at UNH Law.
Prior to attending UNH Law as a student, Morris, J.D. '06, held various upper management positions in the telecommunications industry. Her career started as Northeast customer service manager for U.S. Cellular, then she became director of provisioning and customer service at Lightship Telecom. After earning her J.D. from UNH Law she became corporate counsel for Pan Am Systems, Inc.
Morris is a licensed attorney who practices animal law in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Her clients include local animal shelters and non profits, as well as animal owners, breeders, and businesses. In 2009, Governor Lynch appointed her as Chair of the Governor’s Commission on the Humane Treatment of Animals. She is also President of the New Hampshire Horse Council and sits on the Board of Directors for the NH Disaster Animal Response Team.
