The Warren B. Rudman Center was pleased to partner with The Concord Coalition on February 17 to host economic experts discussing the challenges faced in the post-COVID economy. The event, “Fiscal, Monetary, and Economic Challenges of the Post-Pandemic Economy,” featured Phillip Swagel, director, Congressional Budget Office; Eric Rosengren, president and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston; and Wendy Edelberg, director, The Hamilton Project and senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Nearly 200 people attended.

Moderated discussions, which included questions from attendees, focused on federal deficit challenges, the role of interest rates and inflation, long-term economic growth remedies, and more. The event was sponsored by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation and can be viewed in its entirety here.
